A good-looking Australian Shepherd-Husky mix, Milo is a very sweet young dog. He is well-behaved and stops being shy once he gets to know you. Oh - and he loves other dogs. Absolutely loves them.
Milo was surrendered to the local shelter after being on a chain for most of his life. But don't let his history think he is not nice. Actually, Milo is as sweet and non-agressive as they come! Milo had been at the shelter for about 4 months and despite being the staff favorite, his time was up. Thanks to his wonderful foster mom, Milo gets his second chance.
Milo would do great with any type of family: a single person, a couple or a family with mature children. He loves playing with other dogs, so Milo would love to have a new playmate. Hei s house and crate trained, knows "sit" and is very gentle. Milo also loves to play and run, so a family that includes outdoor exercise would be ideal.
Are you that special person who can keep this beautiful boy safe and happy? If you would give Milo a chance, he'd be so grateful to be your dog.
Milo has just completed heartworm treatment and will be ready to go to a new home about Aug 7. Because of the treatment, Milo could not be neutered right away. Milo will need to be brought to an approved Hope vet to have the procedure done in about 6-9months.
