Adoption

Hope Humane Society is a no-kill, volunteer rescue group. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for abandoned and homeless dog and cats. Your adoption of one of these animals helps not only the animal, but you also help other animals waiting in shelters. Spending time with pets can reduce stress and bring joy to your life. HHS wants to make sure the pet you choose is a fit with you and your family. That's why we have we have an application process to adopt rescued dogs and cats.

Not ready to commit? Think about Fostering.

Adoption Process

1.  Fill out  the online application

2.  HHS will review application.

3.  An HHS volunteer will contact you to arrange a meet and greet with whole family including your pets to make sure everyone gets along.

4.  If everyone agrees that this pet is a match for you and your family the adoption is finalized at that time.

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received.

Please be patient; HHS is an all volunteer organization.
