Hope Humane Society is a
non-profit, all volunteer organization.

purple pawWhat does that mean?
  • We receive NO funding from any government source. We raise all the money we need to run our operation. We raise our funding by:
Adoption fees
Personal donations

  • We don't euthanize animals that can be adopted, even if it takes forever to find them a home.  Want to help FOSTER a Dog or Cat? It can be as short as a week!
  • NO ONE in the organization is paid.  Everyone who works with HHS does this out of the kindness of their heart.  Most have full-time jobs and offer their precious free time to help support these needy animals.

purple pawOur Mission
To rescue and find permanent, safe, loving homes for as many abandoned dogs and cats as possible while educating our communities about animal spay & neutering and responsible pet ownership.

  • HHS works with local shelters (most of which give an animal less than 7 days to be adopted before they are euthanized) to rescue animals that need a forever home.
  • HHS traps and socializes feral cats. Cats that resist socialization are adopted to safe homes on farms with barns where they can run free and still be safe.
  • HHS rescues abandoned dogs and cats.   Once ready for adoption, they are placed up for adoption and found forever homes.
  • HHS Spays or Neuters EVERY animal we work with. We also provide all needed vaccines and necessary medical care.
